“So she pulls up along side of me; give’s me… The Finger. It seems like such an arbitrary, ridiculous thing to just pick a finger and you show it to the person. It’s a finger! What does it mean? Someone shows me one of their fingers and I’m supposed to feel bad. Is that the way it’s supposed to work? I mean… you could just give someone The Toe, really, couldn’t you? I would feel worse if I got The Toe than if I got the finger. Cuz it’s not easy to give someone The Toe. You gotta get the shoe off, the sock off, and drive — get it up in there. ‘Look at that toe, buddy!’ I mean, that’s really insulting, isn’t it?”

I bring this up because my dad and I were driving along in the snow today and everyone is being slow and careful, which is insane. The road is wet… not icy… there’s a difference. So we get in the turn lane, we turn, and as we’re turning, this lady in the on-coming turn lane gets ticked and flips us off. Now, my dad didn’t see this, but, of course, I was looking right at the lady as she was outside my window.

She was probably in her early thirties and she still thinks this is a good way to express your anger.

When the finger came to full extension I just smiled at her. And in the spilt-second of time I still had to look at her face she was a little confused at my polite gesture.

What I wanted to do, though, was roll down the window and yell, “Yeah, real mature, lady!”

You loon…

But I’ll try…

I like the fact that I can relate to a lot of what’s going on in the characters’ lives. They’re super nerds but, at the same time, they’re trying to get girls to like them (which is how I am most of the time). Just look at my blog! Right off the bat I told you I was a nerd. Anyway, it’s pretty much awesome and Wallowitz is my favorite character.

Now if you’ll excuse me I gotta finish watching Revenge of the Sith on my iPod.

I’ve compiled a list of their Top 10 songs — in my opinion — and I’m going to share it with you.

1. Like a Stone — It just happens to be my favorite song by them.
2. Cochise — Sick guitar from Morello.
3. Shadow on the Sun — Turns into an all-out screamo for the last fifty-five seconds.
4. Exploder — For the “Dat-duh-em-dah-duh’s” at the end of the song
5. I Am The Highway — This is the second non-rock song in my list. Yes, they’re good at that, too.
6. Out of Exile — Finally we’re out of the self-titled CD.
7. Sound of a Gun — Good song.
8. Original Fire — Intro is pretty sweet.
9. Somedays — Has sort of a Van Halen feel to it, dontcha think?
10. Shape of Things to Come — I needed a tenth song…

So there it is! My first Top 10 list! You should expect many more over the course of this blog’s… existance… most of which having to do with music. I’ll have some other lists, too, but they’ll be 90%  music.

My next one should be Top 15 Rage Against the Machine songs. There are so many good ones I need five extra slots.

I’ll start out by introducing myself: my name is Anders, I’m fifteen years-old, I’m obsessed with baseball and comic book movies, and, of course, girls are awesome to me.

Some people may find it impossible for a man as good-looking as myself *cough* to be a nerd as well. Just to prove you wrong I’ll have some lists and stuff on this blog that have to do with movies like X-Men and Iron Man.
